A new car is one of the products that have the highest rate of depreciation across the world. As soon as it is bought, from the very first ride out of the sales lot, depreciation begins to act on it, no matter the brand. A study says that a car loses ten per cent of its value as soon as the tires meet the street from the purchased lot, and for the longest time, traditional motor insurance only covers for the current value of cars and made no allowances for depreciation. For people who secure an auto loan to buy their vehicles, the Guaranteed Auto Protection is insurance coverage that aims to bridge the gap between the value of the motor vehicle and the amount that was financed. It is an added layer of protection to pay off the difference between the two variables which can be purchased separately or from major auto insurance carriers. If you do not have a huge chunk of money to deposit your dream car, you might need to finance for a longer period, to which end, having GAP insurance can make your lender more open to a lower down payment. Click4GAP GAP Insurance is a digital company that claims to offer comprehensive GAP insurance products and quick claims settlement to their clients. But do they have a good track record? Are their personnel attendants friendly and well-grounded? We have not had direct experience with them, and as such our answers might be coloured with biases. It helped me greatly when I got in an accident. I had my car insurance through a different provider and the car was not insured for damage by other parties. The insurance company told me that since the damage to my car was above deductible, I'd have to pay for it myself. They also said I must file claims with everyone at fault, which would have been three people. Needless to say, it was getting complicated and lengthy to handle. By the time my claim went through, there was nothing left of my car and I wouldn't buy it. I wouldn’t recommend it anytime to anyone ever.
