Delivery team were polite, quick and efficient.
“They were polite, friendly, quick and efficient.”
Customers often praise in-home delivery and assembly. Many mention careful handling, floor protection, and taking away the packaging. Others report poor updates, long waits, and refund or transfer problems that never get fixed. Product feedback is mixed, ranging from “top quality” to items that arrive damaged or fail soon after.

Delivery team were polite, quick and efficient.
“They were polite, friendly, quick and efficient.”
Order updates were poor, logistics terrible and refund service poor.
“STILL HAD NO UPDATES 3 WEEKS LATER”
Product marks easily and aftercare insurance did not cover issues.

Delivery staff were professional despite initially delivering wrong chair.
“5 out of 5 for Zak and Stu.”
Named delivery crews earn repeated praise for arriving on time, being polite, and handling items with care. Reviews often mention in-home assembly, putting furniture where requested, and clearing away packing waste. Fewer reviews describe problems such as the wrong items being delivered, goods left unboxed, or blunt in-store return interactions.
Price and value come up only occasionally. When they do, complaints focus on what customers see as a high delivery fee and on poor value when items arrive damaged or need repeat repairs.
Several customers describe showroom visits as pleasant, with knowledgeable staff and little sales pressure. Many say the buying process feels straightforward and enjoyable. Some mention confusing in-store pricing or staff at tills who seem uninterested.
Many customers describe the furniture as solid and high quality. Others report items arriving in poor condition, cushions losing firmness, chairs breaking, and repairs that do not fix the fault. Several reviewers say aftercare or a protection cover did not solve their problem.
Communication splits sharply. Some customers get clear call-ahead notices and precise delivery time windows. Others report no progress updates, long waits for out-of-stock items, and unclear messages about refunds or transfers.
Repeat buyers and many showroom visitors report high satisfaction with products and staff. Others describe strongly negative experiences driven by unresolved logistics, damaged deliveries, or weak aftercare. Overall impressions often hinge on the gap between frequent praise for delivery crews and a smaller number of serious failures.

I can't say enough excellent things about my experience with Barker and Stone House.
I ordered a dining table and chairs online, which was delivered to my home within the specified 10-12 week delivery time range.
The delivery people were competent, very helpful and friendly.
Upon looking over the dining set, there were a few minor problems that I pointed out to the delivery boys.
To my surprise, they phoned me back the next day to advise me that Barker and Stone House will be sending out someone to solve the problem and as promised they send an expert early morning and the issue was fixed.
Thanks
ALEX
