It didn't help matters that the ankle strap on the ankle boots I'd bought turned out to be a mock-up and therefore couldn't be altered.
In spite of the fact that the boots had already been ordered, I was compelled to return them since, despite the fact that the fit was generally perfect, they did not hold my heel in place when I was walking. I was quite disappointed in this.
Despite the fact that the return procedure was uncomplicated, I have not yet been able to identify a suitable replacement for the item in question.
I'm hoping to be able to locate a pair of shoes that are a little more comfortable.
