Detailed website, competitive pricing and good customer service.
“Very competitively priced with a great range of styles and sizes.”
Customers often praise the site, the simple ordering process, and clear delivery updates. Many reviews, however, describe serious product faults, including leaks, mould, bowed or split panels, and missing parts. After-sales support splits opinion: some mention quick, helpful delivery teams and responsive email replies, while others report missed collections, abandoned deliveries, and problems left unresolved. Ratings show a clear divide, with high scores for the buying process and low scores for durability and how issues get fixed.

Detailed website, competitive pricing and good customer service.
“Very competitively priced with a great range of styles and sizes.”
Beautiful summer house with quick, easy delivery.
“Beautiful summer house and quick easy delivery”
Mould and water ingress appeared within six months; customer service unhelpful.
“Paid £450 for a shed, to find mould all over the roof”
Delivery driver abandoned boxes and poor build quality made shed unusable.
“Delivery driver abandoned the boxes containing the flat pack shed in the middle of my lawn”
Many reviewers describe helpful delivery drivers and smooth handovers. Others report failed or missed collections, dumped or abandoned deliveries, and returns that never get resolved. Together, these accounts suggest service can be reliable or problematic depending on the order and location.
Several reviews point to competitive prices, discounts, and a wide choice of sizes and styles. A smaller set questions the cost given durability, and one reviewer reports an advertised price changing at checkout. People often like the upfront price but sometimes say the long-term value does not hold up.
Customers repeatedly compliment the website layout, easy navigation, and simple online ordering. Some also mention unclear assembly instructions and fiddly builds that can take two people. Ease of ordering stands out, while assembly guidance comes up as a recurring fix.
Most negative reviews focus on structural problems: leaking roofs, mould, bowed or split panels, missing or broken parts, and weak floors. A few reviewers say their sheds feel solid or reasonably made, but many low ratings include serious complaints about build and durability. Material quality and poor fit drive the strongest criticism.
Many reviewers mention quick email replies, clear delivery dates, and regular updates. Others describe weak coordination, delayed or missed delivery messages, and little follow-up after faults appear. Communication ranges from prompt and clear to effectively absent once problems start.
The buying stage and delivery updates often earn praise and high ratings. What happens after delivery—especially durability and how issues are handled—draws frequent very low scores and detailed complaints. Overall, the experience splits between a smooth purchase and weaker long-term performance and support.

“Delivery driver lied saying I refused delivery”
I like the bike shed I recently bought at Buy Sheds Direct. The shed is spacious enough to house all my kids motorbikes and conveniently stands behind my house. It has given peace and I’m never bothered about the bikes getting lost because it’s lockable. Besides, you easily carry it to the next location if you want to shift without struggle. However, I didn't like the delivery guys because they were arrogant when doing my delivery. To some extent I almost cancelled the order because they could not answer my questions. All in all, the shed is good for bikes and you can purchase from the company.
